Ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cup flour
- ⅓ cup Manna Sustainable Protein
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- Chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 360. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter until just melted. Add both sugars.
- Add the egg and vanilla, mix well.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, Manna, baking soda and baking powder together. Add to the butter mixture.
- Add the chocolate chips, careful not to mix too much.
- Spoon out 1tbs size balls of dough onto the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. They’re done when the edges are slightly browned. If you like chewy cookies like myself, pull them out when the center still looks slightly underdone.
- Transfer to a cooling rack.
- Place in airtight container.
